VISIT TO LAKE GAZIVODE

At the end of November 2017, the first visit of representatives of the diving center of RGS from St. Petersburg took place. From January 31th to February 9th 2018, was realized the first detailed underwater exploration 
reservoir of Lake Gazivode.
   
VISIT TO KRUSEVAC


The Development center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia and the National Museum in Krusevac, from January 30th to February 13th 2018, represent an exhibition of the winners of the RGS photo contest "The most beautiful country". On February 6th ​2018, archaeological films from RGS production were shown.

VISIT TO ALEKSANDROVAC

From December 29th 2017 to January 22th 2018, at the Regional Museum of Zupa in Alexandrovac, the works of the winner of the second Allrussian photo contest "The most beautiful country", organized by the Russian Geographical Society in 2016, were exhibited. During the opening of the exhibition a promotional film about RGS was shown followed by a presentation of the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia.

From December 11th to December 14th 2017, at the premises of the Cultural Center in Kostolac, the works of the winner of the second Allrussian photo contest "The most beautiful country", organized by the Russian Geographical Society in 2016, were exhibited.

VISIT TO KOSOVSKA MITROVICA

On November 23th and 24th, the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia was guest at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Prishtina with a temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica.

EXHIBITION ON KALEMEGDAN​

On August 3th 2017, in the premises of the Belgrade Fortress and the Kalemegdan Park (Sava promenade), starting at 6 pm, was organized a photo exhibition "The most beautiful country" by the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia. The photographs show the natural beauty and other motives of the Russian Federation from the traditional photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society. The photo database is located on the site http://photobank.rgo.ru/.

   

The photo exibition was open from August 1th untill November 10th 2017.

On June 23th 2017, the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia, in the premises of the Cultural Center Smederevo in Smederevo, presents the works of the winner of the second Allrussian photo contest "The most beautiful country" organized by the Russian Geographic Society in 2016.

VISIT TO BANJA LUKA

From May 31th to June 3th 2017, the Development Center of the Russian Geogrational Society in Serbia is at the International Scientific Conference (Contemporary Geopolitical Processes in the Eurasian Space with a Special Focus on the Western Balkans) in Banja Luka. The conference was organized by the Geographic Society of the Republic of Srpska and the Association of Russian Social Geographers (ARSG) in cooperation with the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Banja Luka. The development center presented the works of the winner of the II Allrussian photo contest "The most beautiful country" organized by the Russian Geographical Society in 2016.

  

LECTURE OF VLADIMIR KOLOSOV

On May 30th 2017, at 12 PM, a guest lecture by professor Vladimir Kolosov at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Geography. Topic: State boundaries: barriers and linking lines - a modern state of border surveys.

VISIT TO NOVI SAD

On May 24th 2017, in Novi Sad, was opened an exhibition of works by the winner of the photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society "The most beautiful country" (photo album). From May 24th to June 4th 2017, the RGS Development Center in Serbia organizes an exhibition of the works of the winner of the AllRussian photo contest of the Russian Geographical Society "The most beautiful country". The exhibition is held in the premises of the Cultural Center of Novi Sad, Club "Youth Tribune", Catholic Port 5, 21000 Novi Sad.

VISIT TO BIJELJINA

On April 27th 2017 in the Gymnasium "Filip Višnjić" in Bijeljina (Republika Srpska), promotion of the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia was held and a lecture on the occasion of the Earth Day.

   

THE OFFICAL OPENING CEREMONY OF THE DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

On Monday, October 17th, 2016, the official opening ceremony of the Development Centre of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia was held at the Ceremonial Hall of the University of Belgrade.

The ceremony was attended by the President of Serbia Mr Tomislav Nikolić, Vice President of the Russian Geographical Society and President of the International Geographical Union (2012-2016) Professor Vladimir Kolosov, Rector of Belgrade University Professor Vladimir Bumbaširevi, the Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Chepurin, vice-rectors, deans, professors and students. Many representatives from the economic, cultural, religious, political and military milieu of the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation have also attended the opening ceremony. A diverse cultural programs were held including photo exhibition "Russia beautiful country", a film depicting the history of the Russian Geographical Society, "Španac" - Musical Academic Cultural Society at the University of Belgrade, singer Ljubomir Ljuba Manasijevic and others. The Agreement on cooperation between the Russian Geographical Society and the Development Centre of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia were signed.

VISIT OF DELEGATION OF RUSSIAN GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY

From April 5th to April 9th of 2016 a delegation of the RGS visited Development Center of Russian Geographical Society in Serbia and Faculty of Geography – University of Belgrade. A series of working meetings were heled at that time in order to organize a summer field camp with the participation of students from both the Russian Federation and Serbia. Approximate time for realization of these activities is from 10th to 25th July, 2016 on Kopaonik Mountain. Basic location of the summer field camp is at the resort of Geographical Faculty in Blaževo.
